Het Gemaal van Muiden is a beautiful historic venue located 20 minutes from Amsterdam. You meet here in complete privacy (exclusive rental). The room can accommodate up to 20 people and is located in the countryside with plenty of daylight and views of the Muiderslot. Het Gemaal has 2-3 sub-rooms. Customisation is a speciality and ask about the possibilities when requesting a quote.
Het Gemaal van Muiden is an unusual, rural meeting venue, a 10-minute drive from Amsterdam and the Gooi. The building with the machinery was built in 1892 as part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het Gemaal is a fully restored national monument and part of the UNESCO World Heritage Hollandse Waterlinies. Old elements have been preserved, making it a very special space to hold meetings in.
Rural waterfront meeting (near Amsterdam)
The eight large French doors of this historic space provide oceans of natural light and offer stunning views across the meadows to Muiderslot and the dike along the IJmeer. The waterside terrace is a lovely place to have lunch, drinks or BBQ after a meeting.
Meetings can be held with and without tables on lovely chairs. The pleasant materials and colours used, together with the art, plants and flowers and the possibility of going outside, make this a unique location.

You will always use The Pumping Station of Muiden exclusively as the only team and therefore have complete privacy.

Sailing on a Lemsteraak
A sailing race with two sharp yachts
A visit to and team activity on Fort Island Pampus
A guided tour of the Muiderslot
A scooter trip (on high-tech scooters) along the Naardermeer
A drink on a sloop
A rowing or canoeing clinic
Or a walk of about 20 minutes to an hour along the Muiderslot, the Markermeer and through the polder back to the Pumping Station.
You can dine in peace and quiet at Het Gemaal van Muiden. We work with different chefs who cook on location. This can range from simple (to avoid traffic jams) to very elaborate (multi-course dinner). A cooking workshop can also be arranged. We are happy to arrange overnight stays at fine (boutique) hotels nearby, as well as transport to and from the location.
Accessibility and parking
The Gemaal van Muiden is located between Amsterdam and the Gooi. Free parking is available in front of the door and it is also easily accessible by public transport.
