In 1853, the country house - the villa " Welgelegen " - was bought from the estate of King William II. This villa now houses the bar, library and kitchen. Of the present great hall - the beating heart of the society - received its present form in the period 1871 and 1883. The beautiful decorations on the walls and ceiling by Eduard Willem Frederik Kerling were added in 1885, and the conservatory was built in 1905. In the period 2010/2011, the paintings were cleaned and restored, for which it is proud to have been awarded the The Hague Restoration Prize in 2012. Also, all technical facilities were -adapted - including WiFi - and renovated. The several intimate sitting areas and the set-up billiards are locations for good conversation, and of course dinner is served in the hall at the Society meetings. The generously proportioned bar is not lacking; this is the first meeting point for any activity. The stained glass windows in the end walls and ceiling are among the finest in the region, together with the beautiful parquet floor and the aforementioned paintings, the hall is a top location for stylish events suitable for small and large groups [ large hall 165 m², conservatory 45 m², bar 80 m², smoking room 55 m², library 35 m² ]. Adjacent to the conservatory and the smoking room is a patio with seating elements and garden. For sporting relaxation, there are 2 bowling alleys with automatic skittle alleys, counting system and return machines.
