De Schaffelaar Castle; a stylish setting for business meetings. The castle is surrounded by nature, surrounded by woods and a vast estate and can accommodate groups of up to 450 people. The perfect location for a company party, relationship day or product presentation!
Historic and stylish
Castle De Schaffelaar was once built by a Barneveld baron. The baron spared no expense for his new quarters and it shows. Two and a half million red bricks were brought in and an enormous amount of marble came over from Italy. The castle is characterised by corner turrets, railings and marble details. But also by its beautiful green surroundings. Nowhere in the Netherlands will you find a castle in this style so well preserved!
Rooms and spaces for every moment of the day
With its intimate lounges, large halls and beautiful wine cellar, the castle is suitable for parties of up to 400 people, but groups of 100 people are also very welcome here. For the plenary session, you walk to the large Baron van Nagell hall, after which the smaller rooms are perfect for sub-sessions. Afterwards, you can enjoy a drink with delicious snacks in the wine cellar or in the sun on the terrasse. The food team will of course take good care of the guests with (h)honest and sustainable dishes
Easy to reach by train and car
You will find Kasteel De Schaffelaar in the middle of the Netherlands, near the A30 motorway and easily accessible from every province. The venue has ample free on-site parking and is a 300-metre walk from Barneveld Centrum Station
