The Countess takes its name from Countess Machteld, the patroness who gave 's-Gravenzande its city rights. At the time, she gave an identity to this seaside market town. This Countess inspired us in the realisation of our hotel.
The monumental building is a former warehouse built around 1850 which, with its oak beams, high ceilings and large fireplace, provides a very atmospheric setting. The hotel consists of 8 different rooms inspired by Dutch masters.
Besides 8 very comfortable rooms, Hotel De Gravin also has an elegant meeting room, including (electronic) presentation and communication equipment, allowing meetings to run smoothly and effectively. The meeting room is suitable for groups of up to 10 people. Due to its intimate atmosphere, the room can also be used for smaller groups or as a smaller meeting room.

Moreover, the hotel can offer several rooms in which smaller groups can work, making it an inspiring location for team meetings, training programmes and presentations. We also offer (multi-day) meeting packages, where you can combine meetings with, for example, lunch, high tea or drinks.
Its location, a stone's throw from the beach, as well as from the cities of The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam, means you won't be bored for a moment. Our aim is to create a comfortable, warm atmosphere for both guests seeking relaxation and business guests to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
