Within walking distance you will find the centre of Delfzijl, the beach and the bus and train station which offers opportunities for various excursions. Eemshaven is also nearby, making the hotel a great base for a working visit to Eemshaven.
Hotel de Boegschroef occupies a historic location in the port of Delfzijl. In previous centuries, large sailing ships dominated here, bringing cargoes mainly from South America after sea voyages of several months. Over time, the imposing windjammers gave way to steam and motor ships.
