A BEAUTIFUL MESS - MEET WITH IMPACT
Welkom bij A Beautiful Mess Utrecht. In het voormalige hospitaal aan de Joseph Haydnlaan is sinds 30 jaar een AZC gevestigd. In samenwerking met Refugee Company is op deze bijzondere locatie in 2020 ook een Coffee Cafe gestart. Het merendeel van de trainees van het gezellige cafe zijn bewoners van het AZC. Hier vinden zij een vrije en veilige plek om met een team aan de slag te gaan en te proeven van het horecavak. Ze helpen in de keuken of in de bediening, leren Nederlands en worden sterker.

SPACE
Thanks to the large windows and open space, there is plenty of daylight throughout the day. Together with the many plants, Middle Eastern prints and colourful interior, this gives the café a nice (working) atmosphere. The space can also be darkened and the presence of a slightly raised stage and beamer makes it perfect for presentations and meetings. The presence of a sliding wall allows the space to be divided into two.
A large round meeting table, high bar tables, benches and armchairs; the room has diverse furniture. It is also possible to move out to our terrace under the trees with six picnic tables.
CAPACITY
This venue has a 'normal' capacity of 50 people. As the room can be divided by a sliding wall, it is a nice place to get together even with a smaller party.
