National Park de Biesbosch is a freshwater tidal area. There are only a few of these in the world. So the Biesbosch has ebbs and flows, unique in a freshwater area. And for 600 years, the tides have shaped this landscape of water, reed beds and creeks.
Hidden among the greenery of National Park De Biesbosch, on the side of the water, lies De Zuileshoeve. A peaceful spot near an old orchard.
